Salt is essential to human life, but this salt is particularly special! Ceres Organics Sea Salt is harvested from the unpolluted waters surrounding the northern South Island of New Zealand. As in ancient times, it is extracted from the sea by evaporation - harnessing the natural processes of the sun and wind. Ceres Organics Sea Salt is unrefined, so it's richer in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and other trace elements than normal table salt. It does not contain the anti-caking agents or bleaches found in many refined table salts. Being naturally-evaporated and unrefined, Ceres Organics Sea Salt has a distinctive flavour. Use it sparingly, as the extra minerals often enhance the taste. Using this product may help reduce overall salt intake.
